Two days after the cabinets went in, Vandalf was back in the shop for the unglamorous part of a van build: insulation, wiring, and the fan. Tedious work — but it's the kind that makes the whole thing livable.
/ Insulation
Before any of the good stuff goes in, the walls need to not be bare metal. Insulation goes up first — the difference between a van that sweats in summer and freezes in winter, and one that actually works as a home.

/ Wiring
Then the wiring. Hours of routing, clipping, and labeling so the lights, the fan, the outlets, and everything else have a path that won't burn down the van or look like a rat's nest. Tedious is the word — but every wire run is one less thing to fight later.

/ The Fan
Fan installation caps the day — airflow in, heat out, and suddenly the van breathes. It's one of those builds where you don't realize how much you needed it until it's in.

/ Coming Along
Tedious work, but it will be amazing. Cabinets, heated floor, insulation, wiring, and now airflow — it's coming along. Every van build is a marathon of small days like this one.
Until the next run out — work hard, play hard.
