Van Work: Fan, Plumbing, and Cutting Holes

Another shop day on Vandalf, and this one had so much going on: the fan getting finished, plumbing going in, and floor work that involved cutting holes exactly where they needed to be. Van builds are a hundred projects at once — this was that day, in the best way.

/ Fan

The fan came together — wiring finished, trim in place, and Vandalf finally has proper airflow sorted. It's the small comfort systems that turn a box on wheels into something you want to sleep in.

/ Plumbing

Plumbing went in next — the runs that make a van livable: water in, grey water out, lines where they belong and not where they'll get pinched. Measure twice, run it once.

/ Floor Work

Then the floor — cutting holes for vents, drains, and pass-throughs. The scary part of any van build: taking a drill to a floor you can't replace cheaply. But planned holes beat surprise holes every time.

/ One More Day Down

Fan, plumbing, floor holes — so much going on, and every piece of it is Vandalf getting closer to the road. Days like this are the build: unglamorous, stacked, and absolutely worth it.

Until the next run out — work hard, play hard.
