Some fishing days are about catching. This one was about thinking.
The Falls of the Ohio is a weird spot — a river that looks like it should be a lake, and a shore that's mostly rock and fossil. Not the easiest place to fish, which is part of why it's good.
/ The Fishing
Cast, move, cast again. The fishing was slow, the kind that gives you room to think. Some days that's exactly what the water is for.

/ The Thinking
The thinking part is why I go. The problems don't go anywhere while you're out there — but they stop being the only thing in your head. Fishing is the excuse. Clearing your head is the point.

Until the next run out — work hard, play hard.
