Ground level gives you the moment. Aerial gives you the place. Flying the drone over this beach was the difference between standing in it and understanding it — the coastline, the surf line, the whole layout of the water meeting the land.

The drone is the closest thing to a cheat code for travel footage: it compresses a whole place into a few seconds of video, and it catches the parts of a location you'd never see from the parking lot. Some clips are souvenirs. This one is more like a map of the feeling.
